Why does it matter?

Because the global water crisis affects 1.8 billion people globally, who have to use a source of drinking water that is faecally contaminated. At schools, 2.5 million kids miss class each day due to a water-related illness. This has a negative impact on children’s education. We visited schools in Western Kenya and realized one of the main challenges they face is the use of contaminated water sources.
